I heard about the Ultrabooks being the Big Deal Next Week and that Tablets Were 

"Oh So Yesterday..."

Well I guess the Big Splash of Sales of the "Almost Tablets" like the Kindle Fire and the Nook Tablet has released a spate of New Tablets from just about everyone.  And the Sweet juiced-up and Very Thin Ultrabooks that was going to stomp the already "dead" Netbooks is taking a back seat to  OLED and 4K TV's.  Yes, I said TV's.

Listening to yesterday's 2:30 Tech News Today with Tom Merritt podcast I caught Home Theater Geeks with Scott Wilkinson still on, and he was explaining OLED and 4K TV's.  Scott mentioned that he and Leo Laporte were covering next week's CES on Wednesday and would be checking LG's 55 inch OLED TV.

Scott also mentioned he was doing an interview with Alan Parsons.  You know, the Eye in the Sky and Abbey Road guy.
