Microsoft’s "Halo 4" sold $220 million worth of games
in the first 24 hours.
At $60 a pop, that’s 3.7 million copies in just one day.
That beats the record "Halo 3" set in 2007 of $170 million

Its a Numbers Game Folks !!!

It's been reported that video game sales were down 25%
just before the holiday shopping season began.
The bad news there was that it happened even as highly anticipated games such as "Dishonored" and "Borderlands 2" were released.
However, neither of these games is quite the caliber of a
"Halo 4" or "Black Ops 2."
While "Halo" will be exclusively snatched up by Xbox 360 owners,
the new "Call of Duty" will be purchased by both
Xbox 360 and PS3 owners,
giving it even more potential for huge numbers.
