The Document Foundation launched a stable version of its open source LibreOffice productivity suite, after its breakaway from OpenOffice.org and Oracle's control. Due for inclusion in the next Ubuntu and OpenSUSE Linux releases, LibreOffice 3.3 is a bit leaner than OpenOffice and offers several unique features.
