Take a Tablet and Fly - Qantas Plans Airline First
SYDNEY: Reach for your tablets as Australia's flying kangaroo, Qantas is set to test a world first - wireless streaming of in-flight entertainment to tablet devices.
The trial to be rolled out from the end of next month on one Boeing 767-300 flying domestic routes, will see Qantas's current entertainment programme broadcast to a tablet supplied by the airline.
