Sony may soon release a High-End Camera 
Attachment for Smartphones

According to the report from SonyAlpha Rumors, Sony has developed a product that

is essentially a full camera-in-a-lens system, meaning it is a high-end lens with built-

in sensor, battery, and storage. The lens would be able to attach to a smartphone or

be used separately, and could transmit the images you capture to a mobile device via

NFC or Wi-Fi. The report says you will be able "to see live view images on your mobile

device", which seems to indicate that your mobile device will act as a live viewfinder.

HDTV Antenna of a Different Color

We’ve seen our share of commercially available HDTV antennas that work really poorly.


If you’re in need of free television and don’t want an eyesore of a an antenna try building this foil and cardboard version. Even it if doesn’t work at all you’re only out about ten bucks.

 
The expensive part is the matching transformer which converts screw terminals to a coaxial cable connection so that it may be connected to your HDTV. You’ll need a few nuts and bolts, but we assume you can beg, borrow, or steal the tin foil, cardboard, and blue that round out the parts list. Glue, measure, cut, fold, fasten, finished! You’ll be watching horrible summer TV in no time!

called a pre-cursor to the synthesizer.  

It had,  he continues,  a very  cheesy cabaret sound.

Five-Dimensional Glass Memory can Store 360TB Per Disc

Scientists at the University of Southampton in the UK have succeeded in creating five-dimensional (5D), ultra-high-density storage on standard silica glass discs that, unlike DVDs or Blu-rays, seem to be capable of storing data for an unlimited period of time without a reduction in data integrity. The scientists say that 5D optical storage could allow for densities as high as 360 terabytes per disc, and unless you crush it in a vice, these discs are so non-volatile that data stored on them should “survive the human race.”
