MC2 Post 1180 Final GIMP 2.6 series Update arrives

Since The GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Program) is now at 2.6.12 and I haven't updated my Window's copy in a while, 
I figured it was about-time.  

The Window's installer only brings GIMP up to 2.6.11, but that's OK.  As with a lot of Linux centric programs, there's a bunch versions out there in the development pipeline.  

2.6.11 is a good place to jump in if you haven't 
used GIMP before.

I think you'll like it.  All the image stuff I do on my various posts is done with the GIMP.
