Post 299 -- Fedora 10 on the Redux Manor Menu

You leave any Operating System on your computer for any length of Time and you start getting Crud.

That's the little bits and pieces of files that don't completely go away like they should.

Defragging your hard drive is good way to get rid of Crud.

Installing a new OS, also gets rid of computer crud.

Which is another reason for using Linux (like I do).

There's always a new Distro of your favorite OS just around the corner.

In Linux Updating the system comes around on a fairly regular schedule (unlike Windows).

If fact, at times you get so comfortable with a certain Distro Version that you skip a release or two.

That has happened here at Redux Manor. I hated upgrading from Fedora Core 6 to Core 8.

Well the time has come to jump to Fedora 10, the latest open source distro from Red Hat.

I''ll be installing 10 this Weekend.
